Warm gold and soft multicolor
Most permanent systems use individually controllable LED nodes along the eaves. That typically allows a warm gold outline of the roofline, gentle multicolor patterns, or a slow shimmer, chosen from a phone app. Available colors, patterns, and effects depend on the system your installer recommends, so ask to see the app before you decide.
Plan around the dates
Diwali falls on different dates each year. Many systems let you save a scene and schedule it, so you can set the nights you want in advance and switch back to everyday lighting afterward.
The same lights for every other occasion
The lights stay up year-round, so the same install can also cover:
- Halloween: Orange and purple scenes for October evenings.
- Christmas & winter: Classic warm white or red and green through the season.
- Fourth of July: Red, white, and blue for Independence Day.
- Game days: Your team's colors on a Friday or Sunday night.
- Every night: Subtle warm white accent and security lighting year-round.
Check your HOA first
Some associations limit colored or animated lighting outside holiday periods, and rules vary by community. See our HOA guide for permanent lights before you schedule an install.
